Do you think you can survive in the wild by yourself?

If you have not already seen the tv show called "Naked and Afraid" basically two complete stranger male and female working together to survive in the wild for 21 days. Do you think you could hunt, build shelter, find water and survive at least 7 days?

I have a "Survival Guide" which had SAS Soldiers help in writing, and I've read it cover-to-cover like, 3 times.

Nope. I’m fat, squishy, prone to hurting myself and I rely on medication to survive. I’d be dead.

Honestly I don't think I would survive just one hour in the wild alone 😆

I use to hunt with my late uncle back in the back. We lived in the rez aka native reservation so we had to hunt for our food in the wilderness. But now that im old i doubt i can't do any of the trapping and hiking and so on.

If I absolutely had to and had no other choice whatsoever, then maybe? Otherwise, I can't see myself surviving in the wild for too long unless there was a good reason for doing so.

To survive in the wild we would need to make many choices that could challenge our personal ethics.

• Would you kill an animal to feed yourself?
• Would you kill another human if they threatened you?
• Would you steal from others to provide for yourself?
• Would you refuse to follow government orders to submit?
• Would you be ready to forego comforts such as clothes?

The list could continue but these basic questions will raise issues with most people. 🦊
