Forums are a dying art sadly, our generation is off busy with real life and the next generation is too busy with instant gratification apps. Myself, I often forget to checkback here. I get caught up with work and the everyday stresses I forget anything other than Facebook exists.
  2. Thanks lol I needed some validation. What did you get for an si? I'm a big civic fan honestly can never go wrong with a Honda civic from base model all the way to type-r! They're great cars. Not always a joy to work on hah but still very reliable.
  3. I haven't been on here for a while but I don't have many car friends lol idk thought maybe you guys would appreciate it. I can't believe I did it. I was in the market for a darn civic si but here she was in all her glory. There's honestly only minimal things wrong with it. It's in awesome shape for a 1997!! Can't wait to shine it up all nice. 😍
  4. I used to be pretty big into World of Warcraft, but like most people I got bored of it. Plus I bought a house where the internet is like 2mbps so.. online gaming isn't really an option anymore sadly.
  5. I think I remember the boob contest. well that's a memory shoved deep down the vault. I also remember sex/fetish cults. While majority of it was likely genuinely searching for like-minded friends it also felt predatory. Something my teenage mind wasn't aware of at the time. Hindsight is 20/20.
  6. This is lovely, a wonderful thing to be doing. Affordable prices too!
  7. I've been hearing about the darn rapture my whole life lol My dad loves that shit, he's been saying we've been seeing the signs for a while now. I don't know, I don't think this is it yet. Time will tell. If it is, best of luck to all.
  8. Elder Scrolls online.. It took me forever to download 90gb and then when I launch the game it has updates... I just wanna play the damn game

My faith in Elder Scrolls dide sometime around 2016-17. Skyrim became a dead horse in two years. I miss the ambition of Morrowind. A modern game with all the mechanical candy of Daggerfall would be even cooler. Characters with language skills, branching reputations and shit like that. Oh yeeeeah. RPG porn.

I have to agree. I do love oblivion though honestly it's the one I spent the most time on. I loved the shivering Isles expansion lol it was hilarious.

I probably spent the most time with Oblivion too. Hard to say since I played on a disk during the pre-Steam days. Have no way to document the amount of hours spent. I've spent about 500 hours on Skyrim if you add up all the time I've spent on PC and PS3.

  9. Wow looking back at this thread and now knowing what's going on in other countries I'm glad I haven't gotten it yet. I hope I won't have to. A sentence in a letter sent out by my province. "The vaccine works." Literally, that was a sentence at the end of a paragraph.. why do you need to even add that? I agree @SubRosa, there's just too many red flags. I sure as hell won't be forced into something I'm so unsure of. I've noticed change in behavior of those who do have it. There's a video floating around of the prime minister of Canada laughing stating that the government has bought out the media. There's also a video floating around of Elon Musk stating that you can control people when you mess with their RMNA. No thank you. I don't want that in my body. I won't treat vaccinated any different, but the vaccinated seem to be treating the unvaxxed as an issue or less than and it's terrifying.
  10. I have someone coming but I'll be around I just don't know how to do the slicing part I rather a professional help me out. It doesn't bother me but I understand it does bother some. I've grown up in farm area though so I've grown desensitized to it.
  11. No bull! hah my rooster is really chill he wouldn't let me handle him though, I wish I had of handled my chicks more but they hang around me but no touching lol the bull will only be hear until old enough for you know.. the end.
  12. aha thanks! It's a lot of work but also a lot of fun. I've since added 8 chickens and a goat, she hangs out in the yard with me all day. I'm also getting a bull in a couple months.
  13. that sounds awful! There's talk of another lockdown coming in the fall. Everyone is over it and politics are dividing communities. What an awful and scary time to be alive right now.
  14. I'm starting to feel my age, I can't stay up into the wee hours of the morning anymore :sleepy:

  15. Not yet, waiting it out.. see how everyone else does first lol I'll get eventually.
  16. I do believe you are right. There is just no reasoning with this woman, when I bring my concerns up she gaslights me and tells me I remember it wrong. The empath in me wants to fix the relationship with her as I understand that she has been through a lot in her life. Unfortunately she just doesn't (and refuses) to understand how she acts is toxic and takes a toll on those around her. I just cannot bare the weight of her negativity any longer and I guess in a way I will mourn the relationship as I did gain some life knowledge from her before things went sour. I looked at her as another mother at one point. Dare I say she has narcissistic tendencies, she knows how to make me feel bad for her to the point I cannot answer the phone anymore because the entire phone call is about how I should feel sorry for her but no where does she take ownership of her actions. It's sad it has to be like this but it's for the best. I hope one day my daughter will understand why I had to cut off contact.
  17. Nope. I haven't decided what I believe, I'm pretty spiritual. But I definitely don't believe in the bible and god/jesus. To each their own I don't care what others believe in as long as you're a good person is all that matters to me.
  18. Seems lie the site is doing alright in regards of activity I just have a bad habit of not coming back for a few days at a time Everyone remember to come back!
  19. The name she came with is Willow. I don't feel like it suits her though but she seems to respond to it though so Willow it is!
  20. So I added a goat to the farm yesterday..
  21. That's awesome! How did you ever decide to rebuild a Model T? How did you get it? I'm sure it has a lot of history behind it!

Hmm I think there is more you can search with the payed service but there are some holes you'll have to fill in. It wouldn't find my grandfather who I know nothing about. I had to search obituaries to get bother/sister names of him. Then once you start filling in the more immediate generations it suggests parents to those and so on it gets easier but search carefully, it's not a perfect system but it definitely helps. I've used some outside sources to fill in gaps or confirm relatives.
