  1. Hello, At3meta. Thank you for joining us!
  2. Hello and welcome, Mirkleaf!
  3. Hi, Tiffany, and Welcome to VampyFreaks! You certainly have an eclectic array of interests (I personally know no one who enjoys writing letters these days). Also, feeling like you have much to discuss despite others around you not sharing your same interests is understood. You seem like a wonderful person, and I wish you the best both here online and in real life. May you have endless conversations of pure bliss! Also, nice profile photo!
  4. I don't have just one favorite Halloween movie. Some of my most-watched Halloween films include The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. They never get old to me, so I keep watching them!
  5. I celebrate Halloween in my own way. Mostly, this entails decorating, listening to Halloween music, and watching scary/horror movies. I used to dress up but have since stopped. Halloween is one of my favorite times of each year, so I ensure I make it special.
  6. Keaton's a great choice. I agree he played an excellent Batman. And I do enjoy reading a good comic book every now and then, so I may dive into Batman '89!
  7. I've noticed this as well, Trappernicus. I'm curious why members aren't as active at the moment. Hopefully, we'll see more engagement as we move forward.
  8. I just saw this and agree with you. Vampy Freaks is wonderful, which is why it's great when we see active, interested members share with us all!
  9. This question is tough to answer because I am fond of a great many bands. Instead, I'll note there's rarely a time when I listen to music not of either goth or industrial (or a related) flavor. There's such beauty in darkness!
  10. Nice song! I especially like it from 3:00 onward, after more sounds are added. I also enjoy both the theme and artwork. You certainly showcased your musical talent with this track!
  11. Nice! I enjoyed the song and video. It was refreshing to watch something both fun and full of talent. I wish you and your band great success and hope to see more releases in the future!
  12. This question is tough because there are many times in my past I'd like to revisit. Since I'd be able to travel back in time with my present memories and knowledge, I guess I'd return to my high school years. That way, I could explain to my younger self life's not always what it appears to be. Maybe then I'd have taken more chances before I became an adult. I'm content with my life, though, so in this scenario there's a chance I'd choose not to change anything, either. Knowing the option existed would be tempting, but I'd have to be there in the moment to really decide what I'd want to do.
  13. I'm mostly familiar with The Number of the Beast and a little of Piece of Mind. I definitely enjoy punk, so it looks like I'll be listening to their first two albums! Thanks for your suggestions!
  14. Thanks for sharing with us all your thoughts about Iron Maiden's new album! As someone who's not too familiar with their newer work, I appreciate your review. Based on your words, I may listen to this band again at some point in the near future!
  15. I've seen chocolate-covered insects more than a few times but have never tried any of them. After reading your response, I kind of want to eat them, just for interest if nothing else. Maybe one day!
  16. Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Morbius look awesome! I saw something about the latter being pushed back until 2022. Have you seen anything about that?
  17. I used to enjoy everything Batman. I still watch a movie or play a video game every now and then. I liked the '89 universe, so I'm interested to see what becomes of this new series. As for my favorite Batman, I'd have to say the Arkham video game series, especially Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, made me appreciate both him and his world more than any time before. Which Batman do you like most and why?
  18. Hello, retrotoons! Many of the forums of which I used to be part now either are no longer active or not the same as they once were. I liked film sites in particular because I enjoyed asking and answering questions. Now it is not the same experience. 😞 Thankfully, VampyFreaks is amazing!, and I feel right at home here, as I hope everyone else does!
