Always read the fine print.
The "free" option reads as they're giving the cops any submitted info since HIPPA non-compliance is made clear on the page & states they intend to share your information with any necessary agencies/ organizations.
Forwarded it to my cousin who is a lawyer, her explanation confirmed my suspicion....
"If a sponsor group or the like shows up & you tell them "I simply thought it was a good idea to have in the first aid kit", trust me, in hopes of bringing activity numbers up for the next fundraiser, eventually there will be an unwanted visit from the cops. Be it on a fishing expedition or prolonged harassment."
While it's fun playing hero, I'll play it safe instead.
If it's my privacy & quite possibly my personal wellbeing on the line, I'll let those who choose to chase death catch up with it.

24/7 Crisis Hotline: Call or Text 1-888-510-BABY (2229)
If you are pregnant and do not want to keep the baby but you still want to carry it to term you do have options if you want to remain anonymous.
Safe-haven laws (also known in some states as "Baby Moses laws", in reference to the religious scripture) are statutes in the United States that decriminalize the leaving of unharmed infants with statutorily designated private persons so that the child becomes a ward of the state. All fifty states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico have enacted such statutes.
"Safe-haven" laws typically let parents remain nameless to the court, often using a numbered bracelet system as the only means of linking the baby to the parent. Some states treat safe-haven surrenders as child dependency or abandonment, with a complaint being filed for such in juvenile court. The parent either defaults or answers the complaint. Others treat safe-haven surrenders as adoption surrenders, hence a waiver of parental rights (see parental responsibility). Police stations, hospitals, and fire stations are all typical locations to which the safe-haven law applies.
In some places, a baby hatch or "baby box" is provided to allow babies to be safely dropped off anonymously and without encountering other people.

What about rape and incest victims? What about condoms that break or birth control that fails? Easy to assume life has all simple answers but not everyone has a life thats simple enough to have those answers available to them. At least this is another option in case that option isn't there and over the years it has SAVED the life of many sweet babies. Thats the whole point of the post, not to judge but to help.
