  1. Alright, I'm dropping from this site. Honestly, this setup is nice but the sheer amount of conspiracy theorists and misinformation is too much. I don't approve of censorship but I also don't support spreading misinformation as I've seen through my own mother who is mentally ill how it further handicapped her. Questioning, theorizing, etc. is fine. But, "theories" are not facts and I don't approve of treating them as such.

    Peace out, alien babes.

i know first hand about misinformation. I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and had to watch the media start a riot by only showing a clip of a cop shooting a dude is his back 7 times, of course they bleep out the part about how the guy was ordered by a judge NOT to go to ex-girlfriend's home, he was wanted for sexually assaulting her, and the part where he reaches for a knife moments after physically resisting a lawful arrest.

sucks to see you go, but i feel ya :jack:

I'll be adding these to my gallery but here are a few I got of the moon last night. Apologies for the poor quality!

    lunar eclipse

I took some pictures a bit ago before things were happening. But, when I went back outside the overcast was so heavy. Hopefully, I'll get a pic at least.

    lunar eclipse

I keep reminding myself that doubtfully there's going to be another chance to see it like this in my lifetime. So, I need to do so now!

    It me.

This is such a cute look! I love your setup too.
  9. I'm not happy with the way he's running things but that doesn't mean I support the Republican party either. Ultimately, I don't like labels for politics but I'd be consider more left leaning than anything. That being said, ideally I'd vote for the best candidate regardless of affiliation. It's just that the Republican party is full of more evil than anything I've seen spat out from a Democrats. It's fueled by hatred, suppression, and fear. Might I add, this is coming from someone who grew up in a heavily Republican family who listened to various far-right commentators and shows 24/7. Literally, everything I heard was hateful and full of ignorance. Because, while there are exceptions a lot DO NOT like to admit when they're wrong. Instead, it's doubled down.
  10. Not a dad joke but... "Is your name Tera? Because, you look like a byte." I used it on my bf the other day. I couldn't tell if he was humored or disappointed. LMFAO.

For those who don't know, it's not just a normal eclipse. It's not happened since 1440.

Oh! I forgot to check what time it's happening! I'm EST. Hopefully, I can see something.

    Hallo!

My bf actually has aspects of Dudeism in his practice, has a "I'm the Dude" set as his ringtone for texts, and named a local stray/feral cat we plan on trying to take in the Dude. He loves that movie to bits! Moonrise Kingdom was so good for a Coming of Age film. In terms of films, I tend to like the obscure or movies intentionally made to be bad. The Godzilla series, well, the older movies are a great example of this. My bf has recently been taking me through the Rob Zombie movies and getting me into Slasher films in general. But, Sci-fi, Occult, Documentaries/Docuseries, or Coming of Age films tend to hold a special place in my heart. Psychological Horror is pretty good too.
  15. I'm not quite in love with the vocals but this is good!

    Hallo!

Welcome! Yes, there's a messaging system. Don't worry! A lot of people are shy. It's nice to meet you. What kind of movies do you enjoy, Tiffany?
  17. I need to read over this again when I'm a little less sleep deprived but I enjoyed your commentary! (I'm running on 5 hours of sleep and 2 Red Bulls, aha.) "Or would it be best say that philosophy has me and that it has developed me?" Couldn't it be both? Keep in my mind, my next statement isn't to force my practice on anyone. It's just an example for this discussion. I'm a witch and my entire reason for beginning my practice was my theory that science and the arcane meet in the body and mind. That if physical resources can produce enough energy power something that we as people should be able to do so through focus and through the power exuded through ritual. But, that doesn't mean the former doesn't have it's own power over us! Some people, swear that the phases of the moon impact their practice. That days of the week are assigned to certain correspondences, you know? It's give and take. And, while it's entirely subjective I think to an extent philosophy. Also, I apologize if this ramble doesn't make much sense. I promise I'll try to clarify when my head is a little clearer and rested.
  18. I'm genuinely curious to see your answers! Currently, I live by the phrase "I know nothing." And, that is my philosophy. I acknowledge the fact that we are ignorant and arrogant. And, that this is a hinderance. As a result, I seek to chase the unknown but acknowledge that the fact that I am indeed "human" but this will probably limit my understanding if not lead to rejection of whatever I may find due to our nature. How about YOU?
  19. I mean, a 2 week vacation is nice but I really hope you don't have it. My bf and I had have had it at least once and it's not fun. If you do have it, I hope your recovery is fast!
  20. I don't understand the reasoning behind a person refusing to take the shot for fertility. It doesn't make sense given your chances of being alive to care for any children you might bear goes out the window if you die from COVID. Getting the shot doesn't prevent it entirely but it does reduce the risk and I'm good with that. And, correct! It did effect my cycle and I've been open about that issue as it's something openly being studied in people AFAB. After each shot, I started bleeding. It lasted 4 months and I bled every other week. My experience wasn't too bad as the bleeding wasn't too heavy to make me ill. It was just a brief unsettling period in time.
