id consider it. its better than going in the ground and floating in water for the remainder of my decomposition. before covid interrupted my plans, i was studying to be a funeral director. one of the secrets you learn is there is no such thing as an air tight or sealed casket. its just a marketing ploy to sell. so regardless, if you are being buried - your casket is going to fill with water.

    We all float down there...

First off, I'm sorry to learn about your interrupted plans. I hope you can still become a funeral director.

Also, this informationĀ is interesting, Raynu. No sealed casket, huh? I never imagined floating corpses after death. What an interesting world in which we all live.

  2. I think this type of funeral would be both unusual and neat. I'd consider it for myself and loved ones, but it would be one of many possible options. In general, though, I appreciate how human composting lets us offer something to others after death.

  3. My dream Halloween party would featureĀ a festive array of people in costumes, quality candy, good music, classic movies, and an overall spooky atmosphere.

My nightmare Halloween party would involve the guests becoming the characters as whom they are dressed. Of course, the threat likely would be higher if these characters posed any realĀ danger, such as a supernatural being or super-powered villain. On the flip side, it may be interesting in the least to see such an event unfold.

Ah, the possibilities of a Halloween party. What fun (or fear) there is to be had.

  4. I often think of a well-known concept when I am asked this question. The termĀ memento mori, or "remember you mustĀ die," is a thought that has existed since classical antiquity, and it implies life is what you make it. Knowing we are mortal can help us realize what to prioritize during our time here on Earth. Personally, this concept empowers me to make the most of each day, as I hope it does to others. Therefore, I do not fear death.

  5. I wanted to be a video game designer, tester, pretty much anything related to video games. While I still enjoy playing video games, I have since changed my career plans to better suit my life goals. So, I have experienced no loss but rather a chance at a improvedĀ future.

  6. I have long felt connected to the goth subculture. Everything about it ā€” the music, literature, movies, etc. ā€” gives me a far greater sense of meaning than any other part of my life. As such, I identify most with goth subculture.

  7. I like this house's aesthetics. Before I decided whether to live in it, though, I would want to see more pictures. If there either wereĀ intriguing furnishings or I was able to add them to my liking, I would be more apt to live here. If not, I could choose to live elsewhere. Based on my first impression, I do not believe I would mind living in this house.

  8. Hello! My name is DeathinDarkness, and I am excited to be here with you all. I am drawn to the darker aspects of life, particularly those related to goth and the Gothic (among others), as can be found in the music, literature, and screen media I consume, as well as my personal fashion.Ā I look forward to learning, sharing, and growing with everyone here on VampyFreaks.
