  1. For me the darker and richer the better. I enjoy it no milk and no sugar. Unadulterated pure coffee.

BTW: I have a method of making Coffee flavoured Port. If anyone is interested. You can become the most wide awake drunk ever 🦊

  2. I remembered this from a favourite book of mine “Watermelon Sugar” by Braughtigan.

There were four or five guys putting in the tomb. They were the Tomb Crew. The tomb was being put into the bottom of the river. That's how we bury our dead here. Of course we used a lot less tombs when the tigers were in bloom. But now we bury them all in glass coffins at the bottoms of rivers and put foxfire in the tombs, so they glow at night and we can appreciate what comes next.

The name she came with is Willow. I don't feel like it suits her though but she seems to respond to it though so Willow it is!

Like all names, even human ones, they don’t always suit the character or nature of the one named. I do like the name Willow. If you were to change the name what do you think it would be? 🦊

Funny, I thought I was the only one to say 'I'm reading a Graphic Novel'.  I'm reading the last issue in the Kolchak series.  It's great!  It's better than the TV series in that so far each story rolls off onto each other.  I'm heaps keen to see how it ends as the TV series just sort of finished without any grand finale....which is okay but I want something bigger.

Just got a random idea. How about a "Colour it in Graphic Novel"? People can read it and colour it in as they go. What do you think? 🦊

  5. There’s a story that says Henry Ford would insist on buying parts for the T Ford from a particular manufacturer. Even though the same part could be purchased at a cheaper price elsewhere. It turned out he would take the wood boxes the parts came in and use the panels in his car. 🦊

    Yes, I have.

I was out drinking with a (platonic) girlfriend a year or four ago. It was fun and eventually went to pass out in her place.
The dream itself was horrible. I was out on a date with the very same girl. I used to have feelings for her. Anyway, we went past this German cab; or at least I thought she spoke German. We live in Finland so I got immediately suspicious. Why would a German cab drive around in a Finnish town? I told her to follow me and we kept going to this square in the middle of our city. Suddenly the sky turned crimson and the girl had all but disappeared. She was nowhere to be seen or heard. One by one I started seeing these black, cloaked figures. They were approaching me, speaking in a language I couldn't understand. With the "German" cab, I had this intuitive feeling that she spoke said language. This time I had no fucking clue what they were saying.
Anyway, the figures came in closer and closer, still chanting in that made up language. I tried to scream and run, but I couldn't do either. The voice just never left my lungs and I couldn't move my body. I was completely paralyzed. I slowly began to wake in sheer terror, but couldn't open my eyes. I was fully conscious, however. I was absolutely sure that one of the figures was next to me and tried to scream for help. I was too quiet and nobody woke up to help me. It took me several minutes to regain control of my body. Or at least it felt like several minutes. I can't quite remember.

I wound up writing a song about it which is the closing track of my band's debut album...

So at least the experience was a positive in that you got creative and wrote a song. That’s great 🦊

  7. I have this one woman who attends my weekly group lunch. She is incredibly negative. Never seems to be happy. But oddly if I’m not going to lunch she doesn’t go either. Seems she will nay goes if I’m there. So I feel obliged to keep working on uplifting her view on life. Maybe she’ll lighten up some day. 🦊
