I'm not happy with the way he's running things but that doesn't mean I support the Republican party either. Ultimately, I don't like labels for politics but I'd be consider more left leaning than anything. That being said, ideally I'd vote for the best candidate regardless of affiliation. It's just that the Republican party is full of more evil than anything I've seen spat out from a Democrats. It's fueled by hatred, suppression, and fear. Might I add, this is coming from someone who grew up in a heavily Republican family who listened to various far-right commentators and shows 24/7. Literally, everything I heard was hateful and full of ignorance. Because, while there are exceptions a lot DO NOT like to admit when they're wrong. Instead, it's doubled down.
Normally I would say I'm independent in who I vote for. If I were old enough I would have voted for President John F Kennedy. As he was a visionary and a man before his time. Though later if I were old enough I would have voted for President Richard M Nixon. My choices are based on more than party lines. 🦊

Follow the alphabet and add a book title or name to match the letter.
If a title starts with the word "The" you should post it by the next word.Example:
"The Alchemyst"
Would be listed as,
"Alchemyst, The"If you have a link to a book review be sure to add it.

I got the Pfizer, both shots. I admittedly had some side effects with mensuration but they subsided after 4 months. I'm very happy I got it! My bf works in a field where he's exposed to COVID frequently and it's been very comforting to know we both have protection and that our risk of giving it other people is lowered.
Also, I saw it mentioned that we still have to wear masks. Yes, we do! Because, people are STILL refusing. That said, while I want and encourage people to get vaccinated, I don't support mandates. It's a violation of rights imo. People should have the freedom of choice. It just happens to be that getting the vaccine is my preferred choice.Oddly the vaccines don’t guarantee you want still get Covid19. Which is why they, governments etc, are pushing for booster shots. You mention it affected your menstruation; have you read any of the reports on the affect the vaccine has on the reproductive system and fertility? 🦊

Have you not heard of speciesism? I'm pretty sure a lot of humans would be be prejudice against Aliens, sadly. People tend not to be open to things they don't understand.
Yes, I’ve heard of speciesism. As for not liking unknown things, I believe that is called being xenophobic. A sad condition many suffer from. 🦊

I never got into newer Superman movies to learn another side of Lex. I watched Superman 1,2, and 3 with Christopher Reeves and the story I gathered was that he hated Supe cuz he didnt rescue him from a disaster in the science lab in highschool which caused him to be bald and angry.
I had missed that insight. It makes sense. Though in one of the tv series it expressed that Lex had somehow killed his younger brother. His father played a bigger role and was conflicted as to how he related to Lex. 🦊

Do you have any favorite villains? When I was growing up I found myself intrigued by the bad guys in the cartoons or shows I watched. I mean who could possibly be cooler than Skeletor or Soundwave or even General Zod. I didnt watch BattleStar Galatica for the good guys...it was the cylons that made that show interesting.Â
I liked BattleStar Galactica for the hot females. As for villains? Not sure I ever got into that side of cartoons. I did like it when the good guys and gals worked out the clues and saved the day. Though, thinking back, I think Lex Luther had an interesting back story. Some of the later depictions of his character portrayed him as a person with a complex and somewhat complicated personality. 🦊

Maybe I’m really an old age Emo? I remember when I was roughly eight years old waiting for my mother to walk home from work. While I waited I would wonder and muse what would happen if she died. Like would my father get married again. What would the new mother be like. Would she be better and easier to understand and get along with. I even had a small cemetery for insects that my best friend and I would burry dead bugs we found. Sadly I hadn’t discovered the joys of black clothes. 🦊

So were they "Racist" when they deployed a nuclear device against an "Alien"? 🦊

It would seem the "Unvaccinated" are now the "Lepers" or "Unclean" of society. 🦊

I had thought I had heard everything. But today, while looking at claims of ancient aliens visiting the earth in a distant past, I came across the seemingly crazy claim that exponents of such alien encounters are racists. Can the liberal left get anymore weird in their attempts to ‘other’ anyone who doesn’t agree with them?

As a Christian I don’t believe in Karma as expressed in some religions. I do believe in the concept of ‘no good dead goes unrewarded and no bad deed goes unpunished’. For some this looks like Karma. For me it falls under the concept of the ‘social contract’. We live in a socially connected world where actions will have reactions.Â
