The Miami Music Festival from around the World was created by S. FL Friends of Classical Music, a non-profit organization to
encourage and support classical music performances and the musical heritage of countries around the world. The annual Festival features an
extensive array of academic, traditional and folk music from diverse cultures performed by acclaimed world-class artists.
The multi-concert events strive to give audience members an international musical experience by showcasing the authentic and varying musical
styles the differing cultures have to offer. The festival also boasts a series of Lectures dedicated to the advancement and understanding of the different
cultures of the world, exploring the music of a particular region, its culture, its folklore, or a musical genre, this all comes together in a series that is
uniquely diverse. The multi-cultural lectures strive to give an understanding of the pivotal events, celebrity figures, central ideas and defining world-views
that have shaped major episode in cultural history. The festival also offers either free or low-cost ticket prices, thus making the event accessible
to all who wish to attend, many of which are family friendly.
