Moonlight filters through the trees.
I embrace the cool night breeze.
Diamond like stars light my path.
Narnia is close at hand.
I can hear Aslan calling.
Glowing lampposts mark the door.
Heralding an adventure.
Tomorrow can wait for now.

Gentle Love ☠️

Blessed Lord, our Saviour Devine.
We turn to you in times of need.
And in your care you keep us safe.
And reassure us of your love.

We are children chosen by you.
To stand as a lamp to the world.
A beacon of your grace for all.
To help guide the lost safely home.

Scars

Of course I recognise this place
My feet bloodied and bruised.
On your broken glass lies.
That litter my pathway of tears.

I know where this story leads to.
It is traced in scarred dreams.
Like a lattice of fears.
That offers me little shelter.

I keep returning to this place.
Finding comfort in pain.
Acknowledging the truth.
That I feel safest in despair.
