    Vkei (Visual kei = Visual style) is a japanese subculture consisting of visual performance (extravagant makeup and clothing) of diverse music genre (jrock, jmetal etc) and it has many substyles, i would recommend you to discover it by yourself with some bands like the classics Malice Mizer, X Japan, Buck-Tick, Di en Grey or The GazettE. My personal favorite are Kuroyuri to Kage, Madmans Esprit and Memento Mori.
