I agree with you. There is no point in getting tattoos like a madman. Prejudice all over. I dont regret getting tattoos though but i wish i would've hired better artists instead of rushing to the first opportunity that appeared. Anyway, the cover-ups will look awesome. I'll show you once they're done. Maybe ill make a post her on the forum id thats appropriate o.0

Of course i did it for the aesthetics hahaha. Im just saying everything is energy. Especially something you put on your skin as a scar. Just because the context in which we do it has changed and there is no ceremony associated to it anymore doesn't mean it's no longer a sacred ritual. But of course it's also meant to be done for the aesthetics. It always has been. What I meant is that cover ups look good period. But there is more to tattoos than meets the eye in my humble opinion. Im just saying this bevause i studied the history of tattooing and know for a fact that it's an ancient thing. We basically appropriated it.

Ive got like 2 really trashy tattoos that i did myself and am now gonna cover up with other artwork because i was just trying out my new machine on myself and it doesnt look pretty. One of them was going to say "chaos" but i didnt finish the word and the other says "thought criminal" lmao. Besides that ive got tattoos that are kinda meh done by artists that i want to improve this year and others that i dont relate to anymore and am gonna cover up as well. I started getting tattoos when i was 18 and im now 26 so yeah. But i love the look of cover up tattoos even when you can sorta see whats underneath. It doesnt look messy to me idk why i think it creates a kind of synergy which makes it interesting to look at, the interaction between the past and the present on the skin. Tattoos are meant to tell a story after all, I even believe they leave imprints on our karma and dharma, so it's normal to change your mind once you start feeling their effects on your energy or they just stop being compatible with your vibration when it changes at some point.
